Sales sizzle as
homebuyers get their first glimpse of "The
View"
The Villages on Mount
Hope Bay is the most exciting new residential development
in coastal New England, and initial sales activity
reflects the enormous appeal of this spectacular
community.
Sales Director Maureen
Fraser said that by mid September it was evident
that the pace of sales would exceed initial expectations
and is still gaining momentum. "Since our opening
on July 1st, we've sold 35 homes - more than 50
percent of Phase One - and, while there are still
great home sites available in Phase One, we're already
beginning to sell homes in Phase Two.
"It's very exciting
to see the enthusiasm of visitors," she said.
"When people arrive, they're amazed at the
beauty of the location and the quality of our home
designs. Besides attracting residents from Massachusetts,
Connecticut and Rhode Island who are familiar with
the breath-taking Rhode Island coastline, we're
also attracting buyers from as far away as Colorado,
so we know we have something special," Maureen
added.
Robert Cole, a managing
partner of The Collaborative Companies, the project's
exclusive sales and marketing firm, confirmed that
sales are strong and interest is still growing.
"Our buyers are very educated consumers who
know what they want. Most have been looking at numerous
residential developments throughout the Northeast
and they tell us ours is 'the best.'
"I've been marketing
new homes for 20 years and I've never had a site
that offered such an opportunity - 97 acres on the
water. Quite frankly, I don't think I'll see such
an opportunity in New England again," he noted.
Cole said the 290
condominium residential community is attracting
plenty of buyers who want to live by the sea. He
expects the sales pace will continue right through
the fall and winter and escalate more as new amenities
are added to the site. "This is an exceptionally
beautiful setting, with homes and village amenities
designed and built by one of the most outstanding
development teams ever assembled," he concluded. |
