Newport National
Golf Club and The Villages on Mount Hope Bay
What could be better
than living on the water? Living on the water and
enjoying golf as a member of one of New England's
premier golf clubs. That's exactly what homeowners
at The Villages on Mount Hope Bay can do thanks
to an exclusive arrangement the community has with
Newport National Golf Club (NNGC).
This extraordinary
golf resort will feature two championship-level
courses plus a host of other amenities for the enjoyment
of members and guests.
The first course,
which opened in 2002, has been nominated for "Best
New Private Course" in Golf Digest's annual
Survey of America's Best New Golf Courses. This
impressive 18-hole, par 72, 7,244-yard championship
golf course, designed by renowned golf architect
Arthur Hills, features views of the Atlantic Ocean
and Sakonnet Passage.
A second 18-hole championship
course, designed by PGA Tour player Brad Faxon and
New England golf architect Brad Booth, is scheduled
to open in 2004.
When not golfing,
members of NNGC can relax in a 12,000 s.f. clubhouse
designed by The Newport Collaborative that will
offer a private Members' Lounge & Grille, private
Members' locker rooms, a PGA-staffed Pro Shop and
club offices.
Other plans call for
a Members' Pool and Tennis Club and a state-of-the-art
teaching school. For details about NNGC membership
applications as a future homeowner at The Villages
on Mount Hope Bay, contact Sales Director Maureen
Fraser at 1-866-600-8642. |
