Construction on
Clubhouse and Sales Center Underway
Cocktails on the deck
enjoying yet another spectacular sunset on a warm
summer evening a brisk workout in the fitness center
a relaxing dip in the in-ground pool a game of bridge
in the wood-paneled library or an afternoon of NFL
football in the lounge with friends and neighbors.
These are some of the many ways homeowners can enjoy
the private clubhouse at The Villages on Mount Hope
Bay.
"We wanted to
design a clubhouse that has New England seaside
character and charm and will provide social and
recreational spaces for residents with a multitude
of interests, "noted Robert Cole, a principal
in The Collaborative Companies, the exclusive marketing
firm for The Villages on Mount Hope Bay.
The two-level building
features an expansive deck on the upper level and
a wall of glass windows and doors which provide
sensational year-round views of Mount Hope Bay and
beyond.
Initially, one of
the rooms will be used as the Sales and Marketing
Center for the residences. Also on the main level
is a large social room with a massive fireplace
and comfortable seating for both casual entertaining
or more formal receptions.
"The clubhouse
will provide an ideal setting for events like anniversary
celebrations, family get-togethers or general meetings,"
said Andrew Ross, managing partner.
National award-winning
interior designer Soni Christensen of Design East
Interiors of Portsmouth, NH, has selected the colors
and interior finishes and furnishings of the clubhouse.
"We wanted to create a 'Nantucket-style' atmosphere
that had old New England charm, yet a touch of contemporary
finishes and amenities as well," Christensen
remarked.
Outside, the clubhouse
will be surrounded by lush gardens, a putting green
and outdoor pool. A two-story "gazebo"
will provide a cozy place to enjoy the panoramic
view which, as Ross remarked with enthusiasm, is
one of the many priceless amenities.
The clubhouse is scheduled
to open before the end of this year. "We wanted
homebuyers to realize that we are committed to the
success of this community from day one," noted
Arthur Casey, director of development. From the
day homeowners first move in, they will be able
to enjoy the clubhouse which is just one of many
on-site amenities scheduled for the community,"
Casey added. |
